United - Transfer Gossip!

United - Transfer Gossip!

Just as we seem, touch wood, to have our early season defensive crisis in hand, the gossip columns have us linked with the signing of two possible defenders.

The first is the Dutch full back, Gregory van der Wiel and the second is the Stoke defender, Ryan Shawcross

No doubt der Wiel is seen as a possible replacement of the soon (possibly) to retire Gary Neville or as a replacement for the (possibly) Spanish bound Patrice Evra.

But the link with Shawcross is an interesting one, especially when you consider he left us, as a youngster, in 2007 to join Stoke City.

We`ll keep our eyes out for any further developments on either case!

So I assume if we sign Van Der Wiel we're going to sell Rafael and/or Fabio?
