United to Let Hargreaves Go!

The Manchester United career, according to one Sunday tabloid, of Owen Hargreaves is fast coming to an end.

Hargreaves, who has made just 39 appearances for United since joining in 2007, has suffered from a variety of injuries. With six months left on his contract the tabloid reports that United were prepared to offer Hargreaves a pay-as-you-play contract providing he could prove his fitness.

It`s a deal that has, according to the tabloid, since been vetoed with it also being reported that his availability has been circulated to the Premier League clubs and on the continent.

Sad but probably inevitable some might say!

Pay as you play the lad would starve!

1.3 million per game is what Hargreaves has cost you - a stroke of genius from Fergie for sure. Not really surprising that you'd be considering getting rid at the rate he's eating up the cash for 0 return.

Listen to the blue filth, having higher saleries than turnover, it is not exactly econonic shrewd you should be commenting on is it.. Your talentless club will be running for cover once the FIFA economic rules kicks in. Just look at Chelski, though they have actually bough talented players, where you keep on buying dirt, and pay them ridiculously wages, so keep laughing. Anyways complement to the bitters, again stories about internal dispute, loving it..

fcb you're really in no position to talk. How much have Lescott, Jo and Santa Cruz (to name a few) cost you for 0 return. In all fairness to Hargo he featured heavily in our 07-08 campaign to help us win the Champions League and Premier League, hardly no return eh?
TheFamousNo7
Agent Hughes bought well for us, that's for sure.
fifthcolumnblue
Well arguably he did fcb, with the ***** transfers he did get you 2 of your best players in Tevez and Toure.
TheFamousNo7
Toure was pants in his first season, but Mancini's coaching has brought out the best in him. Hughes also brought in Kompany (one of the finest CB's in the prem league), DeJong and Zabaletta too. But all of these players, though good, have improved immensely under Mancio's tutelage. Tevez could have gone to any team in the world and been good, I reckon our owners chose him to send out a statement rather than him being Hughes' own choice.
fifthcolumnblue
Well atleast you gave credit where it is due to Hughes unlike many other City fans.
