United - The Ferguson Theory!

United - The Ferguson Theory!

With the game at Bloomfield Road postponed, we`ll have to wait to see if Sir Alex Ferguson and the boys can improve on their rather ordinary away record.

Although we`re unbeaten in the Premier League this season, our away record isn`t that hot with United having drawn 6 out of their 7 away games.

Those six games amount to a mere six points, something that hasn`t been lost on Sir Alex who has remarked,

"I`d rather go with winning one and losing one, because it gets you more points."

And he`s exactly right!

Applying that theory to those six games we`d have won three and lost three but instead of having a mere six points we`d have grossed nine points and therefore have a five pint lead at the top of the table!

Food for thought!

In all truthness in many of those draws there's been games we should've won hands down and games we should've lost hands down yet interestingly have ended in an undeserved draw.
