United - Enjoying Being Top!

It looks quite likely that we`ll be knocked off the top of the Premier League today!

The postponement of our fixture, away to Blackpool, will give our two main rivals, Chelsea and Arsenal, the opportunity to leapfrog us in the table.

But, we do, off course, have that game in hand to consider as we approach the most critical part of the season with fixtures to follow against our two main rivals.

Patrice Evra, on a rare weekend off, has spoken about being top to the red-top media, remarking,

"That is United`s place. We should be there and now I hope we will stay there until the end of the season."

"We are happy to be top but we are very focussed for the future. The most difficult part is coming. We have some difficult games coming up so we must make sure we get some wins to stay at the top of the table."

Suddenly those two fixtures - Arsenal (h) and Chelsea (a) are taking on a whole new importance!
