United - Captain Brown Starts Tonight!

Reading between the lines, it appears that Wes Brown will be captaining United, at Upton Park, tonight.

The defender, who quit international football last summer, has found it hard to get match time this season for Manchester United.

The emergence of Rafael at full back and the signing of Chris Smalling has seen Wes demoted to third choice right back and fifth in line for a centre back berth suggesting, to many, that his time at Old Trafford could be coming to an end.

At thirty-one years of age, Wes surely has plenty to offer the game still and speaking ahead of the tie tonight has openly admitted that he looks forward to getting a start, exclaiming,

"I`m not getting any younger and I just try to play every game I play."

His appearances may be becoming rarer but there`s no doubt that when he does play he always gives his best and tonight will be no different!
