United - Valencia Back!

United - Valencia Back!

Although we should be proud of our unbeaten start to the season, it`d be dangerous to rest on our laurels.

We`ve not played particularly well, apart from on Saturday, and with a squad as large as ours it is essential that those who start regularly are forced to play at an optimum level.

Any drop-off, with regard to performance, should see someone else given the opportunity to prove their worth to the side and one man who`ll soon be desperate to get involved again is Antonio Valencia

Valencia, who had been expected to miss the remainder of the season, after picking up a horrendous injury, has been making great strides in his rehabilitation programme and several sources suggest that he could well be back in contention for a place some time after the New Year break.

Apparently, Valencia has made great strides after being the beneficiary of some technology that was developed by NASA, namely an underwater treadmill that formed part of their space programme training.

It`ll be great to see the lad back!

Too right! His crosses are deadly and has already proven himself to be one of the, if not the, best RW in the premier league.
