United - Evra Puzzler!

Do I detect a little bit of back-tracking or is Patrice Evra making the best out of a bad situation?

Evra appeared to be one of the more vociferous of the playing staff when Wayne Rooney upset the apple-cart a few weeks back, however, when pressed on how things are now, Patrice seems to have mellowed slightly, when he remarked to the red-top press,

"When someone says they don`t trust in the future of Manchester United it causes us pain - but it is behind us now."

"With Wayne we don`t talk about the past, we just think about the future."

"And the future is where he will once again become one of the best players in the world. We all want to help him do that."

"What I said at the time was that the most important thing was the team, not Patrice Evra or Wayne Rooney. I never said the players were against him. But what we have to do now is help him and hope he scores many goals for us."

As for my leading question, I`ll opt for the latter, how about you?
