United - Keeper Signed?

United - Keeper Signed?

Our search for a top notch goalkeeper to replace the ageing Edwin Van der Sar could be reaching a successful conclusion.

According to numerous news sources, United have done a deal to sign the Danish goalkeeper, Anders Lindegaard

The deal is expected to go through in January with confirmation that a deal was on the cards being given by a slip form those who control his current clubs website.

Apparently, Aalesunds, in the Norwegian league, confirmed a deal had been struck on their web site before swiftly deleting the details.

At twenty-six years of age, Lindegaard has his best years to come and if those numerous sources are right will be a welcome addition to the Old Trafford playing staff.

Here's hoping he will become a great keeper and, more importantly, a United legend. Fergie has become very value-for-money and has placed alot of pressure in a relatively young (goalkeeping years), inexperienced (in the PL) player whom hopefully has the ability to make up for it all.

True Merlin but Schmeichel doesn't pick the team!!! Van Nistelrooy didn't rate Ronaldo but i guess everyone is entitled to their opinion!!!!

I thought Schmeichel said he wasnt sure if his ready rather than him not being good enough.
