United - Retirement?
There`s a lovely quote doing the rounds!
Apparently, when asked about a rumour that Sir Alex Ferguson would be retiring at the end of this season, the wily Scotsman replied,
"If my health has deteriorated it would be different but retirement is for young people - they can do something else."
Magic!
It also reminds me of a similar quote my better half`s granny came out with when at the age of almost ninety and when asked why she didn`t venture down town no more replied,
"I can`t stand it, too many old people down there!"
