United - The Glazer Relationship!

Perfectly timed or just coincidence, you decide!

In a week whereby the Glazers moved to significantly reduce the debt, a move that received mix responses from the masses, Sir Alex Ferguson has once again given the tabloid press some comments that indicate he has nothing but respect for our current owners, when he remarks,

"We have a great relationship, they never bother me, they never phone."

"They never interfere. What more can you ask for? I`m in a privileged position."

Before adding a few pertinent comments relating to how some owners invariably interfere, commenting,

"I`ve heard stories of owner`s texting managers during training sessions - English owners."

"Just because people are successful in business doesn`t mean they will be successful at a football club."

Never a truer word has been spoken but would anyone care to hazard a guess as to which owners he was having a dig at?

Fergie isn't wrong, they've never meddled with what he is doing and always provided money where he has wanted it, another couple of reasons why the Glazer ownership isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

I agree, Ferguson is still completely in charge, and if he says that the reason that he hasnt spend the money everybody is screaming for is due to not getting the right value, I trust him. Ferguson would never stay at United, if for 1 minute thought that he did not have enough money to strengthen. I do however imagine a club without a debt to service, to even more money to invest, especially when considering the profits United make..
