United - It`s Not Good Enough!

United - It`s Not Good Enough!

Watching Chelsea get thumped yesterday made me even more grateful that we`d snatched a last gasp draw at Villa Park, on Saturday!

But, if we are to emerge as Premier League champions come next May we certainly need to iron out a few glitches that continue to haunt us.

For eighty minutes, on Saturday, we looked ragged and devoid of ideas which once again contributed to another away day draw.

Speaking to the media, after the match, Darren Fletcher expressed his disappointment on both the aforementioned matters, remarking,

"It`s not good enough. We need to start winning away because if you don`t it will end up costing you the league."

"You can`t wait for a kick up the backside, like going two goals down, to get us playing. You can`t afford to keep doing that. Of course you get a response when you lose goals like that, that`s natural and to come back into the game shows great character."

"But we should have been coming here in the first half and controlling it and getting in the lead."

"I think we had the better chances in the first half so maybe it would have been a different game if we had taken those."

"But they put us under pressure from the off in the second half and we struggled."

"The only consolation is the way we came back. You have to look for positives and we never lost the match."

A particularly good positive considering what happened to Chelsea on Sunday although Arsenal winning up at Goodison Park done us no favours!

Glazers are about to pay off their PIK loans with their own money leaving us 500 mil in debt which is much better than before. Whilst on the other half of Manchester they're having managerial issues, Adam Johnson is already considering leaving if he isn't played more and 'wonder kid' Balotelli was 'conincedently' in the same restaurant as the AC Milan president. All on top of 400 mil spent and still unable to get the team motivated to win.

Thats not including the fact that Tevez has already said he's not staying at City for too long with plans to go to Argentina. He could possibly go much earlier as well if his children asked.

A point earned against Leicester City seemed to be a little disappointing with Manchester United hunting down a top-four place.
