United - Rooney Back For Wigan?

One of the great unanswered questions could be about to be unfathomed.

According to the tabloid press, a certain Wayne Rooney is being lined up to make a return to the first team next weekend when Wigan Athletic visit Old Trafford.

Rooney, as we`re all perfectly aware, is over in the good old US of A undergoing some sort of major rehabilitation programme after his career hit the buffers.

Speaking about his progress, in the good old US of A. Mike Phelan has remarked,

"Wayne`s been doing really well."

"He has been training hard, working morning and afternoon."

"Our people who are looking after him out there have been really pleased with his attitude and his approach to everything."

"We think he will have improved immensely."

Anyone else a little worried about the use of the word think in the last sentence?

Wonder if any of his team mates will actually pass the ball to him? Also wonder if all the hamburgers and donuts will slow him down.
