United - Evra Stokes the Fire!

United - Evra Stokes the Fire!

Derby day is a little over twenty-four hours away and if anybody was under the mis-apprehension that this derby would be a quiet affair then perhaps they should look away now!

Patrice Evra has continued his verbal assault on Manchester City and today, in the tabloid press, has reacted to the suggestion that City will be overtaking United soon with the following retort,

"Your boasts mean nothing because you NEVER beat us."

"They always say that and they never beat us. We don`t care what people say."

And as for the derby game itself, Evra added,

"We don`t need to win just to win against City. We look to win the league, that`s it."

"And if we win it is a good result for Manchester United, it will be normal and not so special. When we start the league season we think about winning every game."

But we have to admit tomorrow night is going to be a special night and a night made even sweeter by a United win!

Could be the last meaningful thing he ever does for you before he follows Christine to Real Madrid in January.
