United - Evra`s City Blast!

Manchester will be a city divided this week as the red and blue halves clash!

For some this is the biggest fixture of the season so far, but for others it could, quite possibly be viewed as just another game, another game that needs to be won to ensure we plod on towards lifting a major trophy this season.

One of those is Patrice Evra who has a few mixed words to say about the forthcoming fixture when he`s remarked to the media,

"Look, I like to win against Chelsea, I love to play against Manchester City and I hate to lose against Liverpool at Anfield. That`s my mentality."

"They`re always rivals, but every year we`ve got to win the Premier League."

"We don`t think about Manchester City because that`s not our problem."

"I can say City have a good team but we`ll see what they do. This game is no bigger now that it was before."

can you draw please, that'd suit me?

Nice try Patricia.

He's right, our real derby is against Liverpool! Losing or winning against City doesn't matter as we always finish above them!
java
I live in Old Trafford and can already smell the fear emanating from our red chums. Your real derby IS with Liverpool and you can enjoy the mid-table scraps for many seasons to come I'm sure.

P.S. To paraphrase Geoffrey Howe, That "Blast" from Evra was like being savaged by a dead sheep! PMSL
fifthcolumnblue
Chelsea are the team to beat to win the title. They have a top class manager and top class players, strong in every position.Having more ponts than Chelsea means you win the league.End of!!!!!!
java
mid table scraps???????????????? You really think Liverpool will finish mid table and we won't challenge for the title??? Money can't buy you what liverpool and United have kid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
java
Funny that Java, because I distinctly remember Slur celebrating as if he'd won the league last season after the 4-3 'fergie time' robbery. Can't remember celebrating like that, as in jumping around like a jackass, in any of your victories over Liverpool. It's time to stop the arrogant patronising bull***** and be honest.
Bluedub
Bluedub get over it, you lost. It will be silly to see this as just another game but at the same time a bit delirious to see this as being a good game. City are far too defensive to see any good, flourishing attacking football from them, just the odd counter attack. As for us, we're missing some key players who make watching United a spectacle. We will do well to win.

Newsflash - Evra wants a move to Madrid - Feeder club syndrome strikes again! http://www.sportsvibe.co.uk/evra-hopeful-of-move-to-real-madrid/

i am being honest bluedub.Losing to citeh never determines our season as we'll finish above you lot regardless off wednesday's result!
java
Yeah Java, and I'll have some of what you've been smoking.
fifthcolumnblue
And you know Java, as well as we all do, that City are a different proposition now. But you continue to be smug and arrogant like Utd fans do best, it will make it all the more satisfying when we do knock you down a peg or two. Famous - who said anything about it being a good game? couldn't care less what type of game it is, all that matters is the result.
Bluedub
City might want to go in at half-time winning, they can't have bickering in the team and players leaving at half-time now. I'm sure that won't be the case though because the players they've got went to City to win trophies and not the money.
TheFamousNo7
What are you crapping on about now 7? Did the players Slur bought in his first few years join for money or to win trophies?
