United - Evra`s City Blast!

United - Evra`s City Blast!

Manchester will be a city divided this week as the red and blue halves clash!

For some this is the biggest fixture of the season so far, but for others it could, quite possibly be viewed as just another game, another game that needs to be won to ensure we plod on towards lifting a major trophy this season.

One of those is Patrice Evra who has a few mixed words to say about the forthcoming fixture when he`s remarked to the media,

"Look, I like to win against Chelsea, I love to play against Manchester City and I hate to lose against Liverpool at Anfield. That`s my mentality."

"They`re always rivals, but every year we`ve got to win the Premier League."

"We don`t think about Manchester City because that`s not our problem."

"I can say City have a good team but we`ll see what they do. This game is no bigger now that it was before."

He's right, our real derby is against Liverpool! Losing or winning against City doesn't matter as we always finish above them!

I live in Old Trafford and can already smell the fear emanating from our red chums. Your real derby IS with Liverpool and you can enjoy the mid-table scraps for many seasons to come I'm sure.

P.S. To paraphrase Geoffrey Howe, That "Blast" from Evra was like being savaged by a dead sheep! PMSL

Chelsea are the team to beat to win the title. They have a top class manager and top class players, strong in every position.Having more ponts than Chelsea means you win the league.End of!!!!!!

Funny that Java, because I distinctly remember Slur celebrating as if he'd won the league last season after the 4-3 'fergie time' robbery. Can't remember celebrating like that, as in jumping around like a jackass, in any of your victories over Liverpool. It's time to stop the arrogant patronising bull***** and be honest.

Bluedub get over it, you lost. It will be silly to see this as just another game but at the same time a bit delirious to see this as being a good game. City are far too defensive to see any good, flourishing attacking football from them, just the odd counter attack. As for us, we're missing some key players who make watching United a spectacle. We will do well to win.
