United - Knocked off that Pedestal!

Young Mr Rooney continues to generate headlines!

Out of competitive action, courtesy of an ankle injury, Wayne saw fit to hold a birthday party for his son, Kai.

The party was Disney themed, a natural choice one might add for someone so young, Kai that is not Wayne, but the locals appear to have gotten a trifle miffed that the noise generated by the bash was still filling the night air at 01:00 hours in the morning, causing us to ponder exactly what time young Kai went to bed!

Continuing on a Rooney theme, his recent antics relating to his recent contractual shenanigans have seen his public acceptance levels drastically reduced to such an extent that the inhabitants of a Kent parish, Edenbridge, have built a thirty-foot effigy of Rooney and plan to burn it on their Guy Fawkes night bonfire!

There`s a long way to go Wayne my son before you get put back on that pedestal!

Oh come on! It's the lad's birthday, no reason young Kai couldn't cut loose and get smashed with his dad for the first time! Wouldn't be surprised...he's 3 right? Burning effigies of Wayne Rooney? You English types really love building and breaking those pedastals!
