United - Obertan`s Window of Opportunity!

United - Obertan`s Window of Opportunity!

After making a rare start in the Champions League tie, against Bursaspor, it`s hoped that Gabriel Obertan can now go on to prove all his doubters wrong.

Whether that proves to be the case or not remains to be seen. But Patrice Evra has taken it upon himself to champion the young man`s cause, explaining to the media,

"It was his best performance and I`m really pleased with him and he`s working hard."

"I keep talking with him every day and tell him to take his chance."

"He showed his potential at Bursaspor but now is the most difficult part. I tell him 'it`s not easy at United but you are still young and have a lot of quality."

"He is like my younger brother and that`s why I hope he doesn`t get too sleepy because now is the time to show he has the potential to play for United."

At a club like United, with its large constantly developing squad, that window of opportunity is often very limited, a few poor games and that`s a career over!
