United - We Want Tevez Fit!

United - We Want Tevez Fit!

Although the focus is on the Champions League and Premier League matches that stand between us and a Premier League date with Manchester City, the tabloid press are quite prepared to up the ante at this early a stage.

Naturally their thoughts are turning to a certain Carlos Tevez locking horns with his former employers and they seem a trifle miffed that the Argentine might not be fit enough to play.

Apparently Tevez is back home in Argentina having treatment on an injury. But it appears that all is not sweetness and light with the doctors back in Argentina concerned that a blood clot that has formed makes it too dangerous for him to fly.

The Argentine is therefore not expected back in England until a week Thursday giving him very little time to get fully match-fit for our clash.

Here at Vital Manchester United we sincerely hope that Tevez is fit because we don`t want to give City any opportunity to come up with the usual plethora of excuses after we`ve kicked their sorry backsides!

Mr Half-wit Red Boy. If Tevez comes back a week Thursday, as you put it,(i.e. 11 November) he will have already missed the match. Like most of your colleagues, you don't know what day it is. Keep counting the debt. Ding-a-ling-a-ling, there goes the till again.

Must have been a mix up in his Sky fixture list Ped. I sincerely hope that the rag's wishes are granted though, nothing beats the look of smugness disappearing from a manure fans face as they look for somewhere to hide whilst they chew on their sour grapes.

Sounds like you're running scared Redboy. And I don't live in Clapham, so what's this "across the city" bit?

The drift of your article is just basically wrong and not properly thought out. Bit like giving Rooney a pay rise. You know the story more on the debt and Ferdinand and Vidic waiting in the wings doing the Oliver Twist

"basically wrong and not properly thought out" - coming from the guy who thought the ref was wrong in sending Boyata off for preventing a goal-scoring opportunity.

Here's hoping Tevez is fit for the match.

Also if you want to talk about contract have a look at your very own Yaya Toures first. 200k spent on a guy who likes to go home at half-time rather than back his team. Hard to believe that some City fan told me he came to the club to be part of something big and not because of the money.
