United - A 22 Game Unbeaten Run
It`s probably slipped a lot of peoples attention but behind the dramas of the past few weeks, mostly Wayne Rooney instigated, we`re on a little bit of a run.
United have now gone 22 games unbeaten in all competitions (as well as being unbeaten in the Premier League). The run has though, probably been eclipsed by the fact that we`ve let points slip when we`ve been in winning positions and our defence hasn`t been as secure as we`d normally expect.
The defensive wobbles are something that Sir Alex Ferguson spoke about ahead of the fixture against Bursaspor with the boss remarking,
"We were concerned about giving goals away when we have been in front but. hopefully, we have eradicated that."
Hopefully we`re not counting our chickens before they`ve hatched!
