United - Gill Ranked #1

United - Gill Ranked #1

The cash certainly seems to be flowing at Old Trafford!

Whilst the masses demonstrated yesterday, those charged with running our club are certainly spending the cash big time.

With Rooney now almost ready to smile again and with Patrice Evra and John O`Shea rumoured to be ready to experience a similar feeling, it`s disclosed in the News of the World this morning our chief executive, David Gill, isn`t doing too badly either.

The tabloid claims that Gill is the highest paid chief executive in the top-flight pocketing a cool £2 million a year, just edging ahead of the guy at Arsenal.

It certainly seems like a lot of money but then again are we not the biggest club in the world and should we not expect our top staff to be on such huge salaries? Or is it obscene?

You tell me!

Obscene if you ask me. He reminds of Tony Blair being Bush's poodle in the build up to the Iraq war only to the Glazers instead, lying to the masses who hate him & raking it in bigtime.

It's still obscene when the comparison to firemen, police, doctors (well maybe not so much they get paid a fortune!) and soldiers is made.
