United - Transfer Rumour Round Up!

Being a club of our stature, it`s inevitable that we`re associated with more than our fair share of transfer targets even more so now that Wayne Rooney has signed a new deal and the acquisition of his signature has put the rumour-mill into overdrive.

Rooney`s signing, after the implication in the days leading up to the matter being resolved that he wasn`t convinced United were in the market for top quality players, seems to have convinced the hacks that there`ll be a mass buying spree occurring shortly.

Today, there`s an interesting array of names who might well be on their way to Old Trafford. Quite how many have legitimate claims supporting a transfer interest I`ll leave you to decide.

Apparently, United are monitoring the situation at Bayern Munich whereby Bastian Schweinsteiger could well be on the move. The player is in the last year of his contract and the inference is that he`ll be leaving on a free after his contract expires at the end of the season.

There`s also the indication give that United could be making an audacious swoop for the Napoli players, Marek Hamsik and Edinson Cavani, details about any potential fees though are not mentioned.

Moving across to South America, we learn that we`re supposedly interested in the emerging talent that is Rogelio Funes Mori, a striker who is rattling in the goals for the Argentine side, River Plate.

Closer to home, the Sunderland youngster Jordan Henderson gets a mention with United, reportedly, about to lock horns with Chelsea in a £20 million transfer battle although we should also mention that the London club are also mentioned as being a possible destination for Schweinsteiger.

As usual we`ll keep you informed of any developments although don`t be surprised if none of these rumours actually see any of the mentioned names ever pulling on a United shirt in anger.

I would be happy with either Schweinsteiger or Hamsik but being realistic I doubt Schweinsteiger will leave on a free and will sign a new contract very soon and Hamsik i just can't see happening.

Manchester United is the best and most popular club in the planet. Other clubs which can be listed behind or called after United are Barcelona, Ac Milan, Inter, Real Madrid.... Then, United has to consider these clubs transfer market participation. Eg. Barca and Real both have huge debt, but are excellent transfer market participants. So, United has to sign top clus and rising star players; Gareth Bale, Hamsik, Bastian, Alexis Sanchez, defour, Ribery, Pato, and so on to crown English, europ and world championships.
