'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Wes Brown`s Back!

Rumours of an apparent rift with Sir Alex Ferguson have yet to be confirmed. For all we know it might just be tabloid baloney.

However after being conspicuous by his absence since the start of the season, Wes Brown has featured in the last tow fixtures - Stoke (Premier League) and Wolves (Carling Cup)

It`s not known if Wes, who recently retired from international football, has a long term future at Old Trafford or whether he`ll be one of those moving on in the summer, nevertheless, Wes could still play an integral part of our squad for this season and like so many others, at Carrington, has seen what our new cult-hero, Javier Hernandez, is capable of.

Interviewed, after the Carling Cup victory over Wolves, Wes had this to say about Javier and also the performance, commenting,

"He tries his hardest and deserved his goal. He`s a new cult hero and I`m sure he can keep it going."

"We did very well since some of the boys hadn`t played for a bit. We want to win this competition for the third year in a row."

There are still some difficult ties to possibly be navigated but if the draw remains kind to us a third consecutive Carling Cup win could well be on the cards.

Hopefully he can regain the form that made him a great RB and have another one-season-wonder.
