United - Worse Case Scenario Time!

United - Worse Case Scenario Time!

And there was I thinking it was all down to loyalty!

Hot on the heels of the Wayne Rooney revelation that he didn`t believe that United were capable of a sustainable challenge for the major honours in the seasons to come, before he changed his mind, comes another series of quotes that make me question what would happen if we were to miss out on one of the big three trophies available to us this season.

They come from Patrice Evra who, amongst other things, has remarked,

"I myself would not play for this club if I knew we were not strong enough to win the league. That is why we all play for Man United"

"I will only stay in Manchester to win trophies."

Worst case scenario, a blank 2010 / 2011 meaning only a Carling Cup (last season) to show for our troubles, would it lead to strife ahead?

Would there be an exodus heading out of Old Trafford?

Your thoughts please!
