'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Hernandez Hits The Mark!

With Wayne Rooney away recuperating in sunnier climes, it was great to see Javier Hernandez step up to the mark and hit a brace.

Hernandez, who many perceived as being one for the future, has settled into English football well and having notched the winner, with four minutes to go, was the centre of media attraction afterwards.

Faced with a multitude of questions, Javier spoke about the result and his desire to do well at United, remarking,

"We had a lot of draws and are very happy with the result because we know about Stoke and how good they are. They were at home so we are delighted."

"I was working a lot because I want to stay here a long time and win lots of tournaments. I am very happy with the result."

And as for that cracking headed goal, a goal that seemed to come from nowhere with Javier facing the wrong way,

"I jumped and saw the ball behind me so I just tried to head it towards goal. I`ve done it at the training complex but I can`t remember doing it in a match before."

"But the most important thing is the result. My team mates and the staff at United trusted me. It`s an unbelievable opportunity to play at the biggest club in the world."

If you keep on scoring as you are Javier, we`ll have to admit that it`s a pleasure to have you here.
