United - Neville Did Get Lucky!

With Tony Pulis convinced that Gary Neville should have seen red yesterday for those two challenges on Matthew Etherington, what does Gary think about the incident?

Speaking after the game, Gary almost seemed to offer a wry smile when asked about the incident after the game when he remarked to the media,

"I was relieved. With the second one, he has probably gone a bit easy on me."

Indeed he did with the television pundit, Mark Lawrenson, adding further fuel to the fire by having his say adding,

"Once you`ve got a yellow card, you cannot do that."

Perhaps the greatest indication that Neville should have seen red was the fact that Sir Alex Ferguson decided to pull-off Neville at half time, obviously aware that Neville was one foul away from actually getting that early bath!

Looks like fortune was smiling on Gary yesterday!
