United - Those Promises!

United - Those Promises!

Continuing on the theme that the News of the World suggests that Rooney may well still move to City, the tabloid has come up with, how you might say, a lively article on what our summer transfer activity might be.

Seemingly, Rooney expects United to purchase a raft of top-notch players this summer with the NOTW mentioned that two of these could be Gareth Bale and Franck Ribbery.

However, the red top Sunday tabloid goes on to suggest that the Glazer family have remarked that any further buys must be carried out after generating cash from sales.

To that extent the NOTW mentions that the following will no longer be on the books next season:

• Gary Neville
• Michael Carrick
• Ji-Sung Park
• Michael Owen
• Edwin Van der Sar
• Danny Welbeck
• Owen Hargreaves
• Tomasz Kuszczak
• Wes Brown
• Darron Gibson

Has the tabloid got the departure list correct?
