United - Another Joins the List!

If Wayne Rooney were to leave, although doubts are now being cast about whether he wants to leave at all now, the subject of who Sir Alex Ferguson would sign as a replacement is already taking centre stage.

Yesterday the names of Fernando Torres and Luis Suarez were pretty prominent but today another name has leapt into the ring.

Several sources are inferring that if the Rooney situation proves to be irretrievable then Sir Alex will be making an almighty push to sign the young Italian currently on A.C. Milan`s books - Alexandre Pato.

On stumbling block though might be the fact that the lad has previously expressed a desire to stay at Milan and perhaps the asking price might well be in excess of any fee brought in by the possible sale of Rooney!

Or now that a deal has been signed will Sir Alex be splashing the cash to appease Wayne?

Doubt it. If Rooney were to appease Rooney he should really consider the AM role my preference being Sneijder. Pato and Torres will most definately not being wearing a United shirt.
