United - Ousting the Enemy Within!

United - Ousting the Enemy Within!

If United are to wrestle that Premier League title from Chelsea, whilst also staving off the challenge of that lot from across the city, everything needs to be just right in the camp.

Anything that knocks the camp off kilter could wreak havoc as we attempt to win something a lot more substantial than the Carling Cup we won last season.

Unfortunately, the Rooney saga could have a detrimental effect on the one thing that needs to be 100% right - the team spirit.

Already quotes are emerging from the dressing room that would imply that Rooney`s revelations have already caused ructions.

Patrice Evra, a leading participant in the all-for-one and one-for-all French version of the Musketeers, in South Africa 2010, has steppe dup to the proverbial microphone and commented,

"If one player in the team does not trust the others, he should not play in the team. I trust everyone, I know we can win."

Whilst Nemanja Vidic, someone I`d not like to cross has added,

"Rooney is going around and talking about the bad way we`re playing or something happening around the club with the Glazers. It is not good for the players and not good for the team."

Time to, against many pundits better judgment, to get rid of the enemy within perhaps!

Or will it all be swept under the carpet now that a u-turn has been performed and Rooney has put pen to paper on a new five year deal.
