More Glazers Arrive In Manchester

Manchester Soccer FC All-Stars (Manchester United to you and I) have appointed another 3 members of the Glazer family onto the board of directors at the club.

Sons Kevin, Edward and daughter Darice will take up positions as non executive directors, all of course hired by Daddy Malcolm.

Mr Glazer senior is still recovering from the strokes that hit him in April and this can only be seen as a move to ensure the stable running of the club in his absence. A United spokesman said:

'The move reflects common practice - all Glazer family members are involved in all the family's business interests.'

This is the major reason why my good lady turned the back on the club she grew up with. She is now a member of the Rebels. You know that FC United of Manchester. Getting gates of 3,000 in their first season. She reckons its a much better craic than going to OT. Any FCUoM fans out there wanna comment?

.... and daughter Darice . DARICE! DARICE! What kind of people are they? Pass me the banjo Cleetus and a bottle of good ol' Southern sour mash. Diddle-dum-dum dum-dum dum-dum dum.... How did United fans let this happen. (Lights blue touch paper and walks away)

That's great for FC United but at the moment there isn't a massive failing of the new owners in terms of the clubs future. MUFC seem to be just getting on with it. The "FC United" is a re-hash of AFC Wimbledon, only they appeared to have better reason for it. I'll stick with the real version thanks.

At least you have a well stuctured family running your club. Look at it in a positive way. They have alot of money to put into the club.

The sad thing is it's going to take someone with alot of money to try and catch up with Red Rom and his Chelski barmy army. If the investment from the Glazers continues, like you say to be well structured then there is no reason why we can't compete. Halfway through the season it was thought the league was decided, very quickly both us and redscouse untied started to catch up.

And there you have it Salford. You can buy all the best players in the world but you still need the best coach/tactician/man manager rolled into one to be able to make them a great team. I'd say that there are at least 3 if not 4 better qualified than Moaninho in that department at this time.
