United - Ferguson to Nip This One in the Bud!

Events appear to be moving at breakneck speed!

With the Rooney camp issuing a statement revealing exactly why he feels he needs to quit Old Trafford, you cannot help but accept that a situation has developed whereby action needs to be taken quickly to prevent any disharmony in the camp developing.

Last night, although getting a result in the Champions League was his main priority, something we thankfully achieved, Sir Alex Ferguson clearly had other things running through his mind.

When pressed about what immediate action he felt needed taking, after the Rooney statement, Sir Alex, commented to the media,

"We don`t want it to carry on; don`t want it to become a saga."

"We have the team to consider. We have an important game (at Stoke) on Sunday, so that`s going to be the end of it tomorrow."

"If we carry on talking about one individual, dominating all our thoughts, then we`re not doing our job."

"Nipping it in the bud is the key to it and that`s what we`ll do. Some players think its better somewhere else. That`s not always the case."

At the time of writing, Sir Alex had a 10:00 hour meeting with David Gill, now whether anything that is discussed will be revealed to the media remains to be seen but if we thought the situation was almost at melting point now the potential clearly exists for it to be upped a notch still!

any news filtered out from the Gill / Fergsuon meeting yet?

Get rid of him and send him on loan to County for a couple of weeks to see what happens in the lower leagues. Perhaps he will then appreciate what he has at United. It seems your players are loosing the value of playing football for a club and focus on the money instead. And who is to blame for that??? Yes the supporters for making them into what they call super stars. Get real Rooney!!!!
Mazarron Albert
United need to force him to make a decision asap, he either needs to re-sign or leave by Jan, if he stays without signing again, he'll leave for almost nothing in the summer! Think the fans can help him decide not to stay if he's not signing!
The Horses Mouth
A baying mob descends upon his house wearing balaclavas, carrying offensive banners and chanting death threats. Showing your true class again then girls? And some of you still think he might want to stay! Bridge burned I reckon.

some****ingbody should sit this little****"shrek" in front of a tv and show him a vid about GIGGS , SCHOLES AND NEVILLE, more than 1500 games between the 3 @ top level. When you ask about great players around the world the first names that come to many people heads are SCHOLES AND GIGGS and many know them to be world class for a long time. ****ing shrek is playing between LEGENDS not just names that someday could turn into some crap, no ****ing other team in the world can say they have legends between them, milan had maldini , we have GIGGS SCHOLES AND NEVILLE , what could madrid or chelski have better than GIGGS SCHOLES AND NEVILLE , maybe history in madrid's case (chelski history is short and not that important) but not the pleasure to train with LEGENDS , even worst , what could a team with no history , no tradition and no important players like man s.h.i.t.y could offer to any player, teams like s.h.i.t.y r not real, they r just selling stuff and giving away tickets

Glad to see Fergie sorting this out ASAP, really can't be bothered with another Ronaldo saga.

So Rooney SIGNS... 5 year deal. Out with my Red mates yesterday... to a man they said GET RID... no one is bigger than the club and other unpleasant comments about the **** Rooney... and now... hands up all those reds who slagged him off " he's lost it... we're better off without him" etc etc and now will start singing his name at the next game at OT. MUGS. Rooney IS bigger than Fergie! Rooney is bigger then UNITED ! Rooney! Rooney! Rooney! Rooney! Or as my United supporting wife now calls him "That little ****! ! LOL.

HAHAHAHAHAA! Rooney obviously felt the love from his own fans - Egg on face time to the vast majority of you fickle muppets, and bullet dodged for City as far as I'm concerned. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1322813/Wayne-Rooney-faces-Join-City-youre-dead-threat-Nike-shop.html

So...let's precis...'Whore' wants more money. Club reacts with PR offensive. Manager, who relies on 'offensive' rather than PR, spouts usual aggressive, semi-literate crap to craven press. "Moo" they all agree. 'Whore' says it's about ambition. Mob threatens 'whore'. Club double whore's pay. 'Whore' stays. All parties satisfied. Makes you proud to support football.
