United - Interest in Henderson?

United - Interest in Henderson?

With the world focusing on the Wayne Rooney saga, one leading tabloid has picked up on a story that Sir Alex Ferguson may well have set his eyes on a new talent that has emerged on the scene.

Jordan Henderson has impressed many with his performances for Sunderland and the England U21 side and the tabloid infers that becoming aware that our trophy-less for more than three decades neighbours, City, are paying close attention to the lad.

Not to be seen to miss out on one of the country`s most exciting emerging talents, the tabloid goes on to infer that Sir Alex could well be lining up a bid that would entice the youngster to Old Trafford.

With Danny Welbeck currently on loan at the Stadium of Light, the story goes on to imply that this may hold some sway with Steve Bruce and that Sir Alex may well even be prepared to offer Michael Carrick a return to his native north-east as part of the deal.

This story may only be at the speculative stage at the moment but something intrigues me about it, keep watching for further developments!
