'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - That`s What We Call A Grudge!

There`s holding a grudge and there`s holding a grudge Sir Alex Ferguson style!

Having fallen out with the BBC over a documentary that featured his son, Jason, Sir Alex has steadfastly refused to have any dealings with the reference company.

Even though the top-flight clubs agreed that after-match interviews with the corporation would be mandatory Sir Alex refuses to get involved and although he knows he will be fined every time he disobeys this ruling he`s persisted with this attitude.

Now I`m not sure what was exactly said about his son, Jason, but it must have been pretty damn serious!

But what intrigues me is that the fines are, according to one Sunday tabloid, being picked up by his employers and not by the man himself which, in my view gives an indication that the club condone his actions, which to me is wrong!

Anyone got any thoughts?

Just makes taggart look like a spiteful and silly old man with no regard for anyone else. But hey, I guess that's what he is. P.S. Aren't you reds fed up with not hearing from taggart on match of the day but having to listen to Phelan make his excuses for him instead? It would pish me off no end.

it would be better if neither ferguson or phelan were on because they both speak rubbish.he should be paying his own fines becasue ultimately it is coming out of the fans pocket.he ferguson, gill, and the glazers are bleeding the fans dry and they are stupid enough to let them do it.what mugs

As a neutral, I'd love to hear his views, he's got by far the best record of any manager in the Prem and yeah, I want to hear from him on MOTD. Totally wrong that the club are picking up the bill, you're right, that means they're condoning it, and let's face it, the fines are hardly enough to make a dent in Fergie's finances!

I want to hear his opinion however do remember its just as easy for the BBC to make an apology to Fergie and his son as it is for Fergie to bury the hatchet.

i am 100% behind fergie
Reddevils4ever89

Taggart do what he wants, as no one believes him anymore anyway, just ask Wayne!!!! but all you reds will say it's 'Taggart's mindgames', but what about those who refuse to Subscribe to mufctv/sky, and the only way of hearing what the man at the top has to say is through the beeb, the man is a fraud, and cheating the fans who he is supposed to 'cherish' their support.....
