United - Ferguson`s Lament!

United - Ferguson`s Lament!

It`s another two points lost, another two points lost by not finishing a side off when we were clearly on top.

Sir Alex Ferguson, talking after the 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion, rued the failure to take three points when they were ours for the taking and having to settle for one, when he remarked to the media,

"It`s inexplicable. From a performance in the first half that was really outstanding, the criticism is that we didn`t finish them off."

"Where it should have been 5-0 at half time we went in at 2-0. There`s been many times, Everton away ift should have been five or six and it should have been three or four at Fulham in the last ten minutes of the match. We are losing points. It`s very frustrating."

"It`s not a defining result in terms of where the league is going to end up but we can`t keep doing that."

We certainly can`t, otherwise we`re going to be playing catch up with not only Chelsea but Manchester City as well, perish the thought!

Still 90 points to play for before anyway gets too excited and carried away.
