It`s not something we should laugh too loudly about but then again it has raised the odd smile or two!
What am I talking about you might ask?
What`s going on at Anfield would be the logical answer!
Our rivals from down the road may well be going through turbulent financial times and I`m perfectly aware that our own financial model is questionable, what with the recent losses we announced, but one aspect related to the Liverpool situation made me giggle this morning.
With the Boston Red Sox guy trying to oust Hicks and Gilette another filthy rich businessman, Peter Lim, who is based in Singapore, is trying to make a last ditch bid to grab the Anfield club for himself.
So why the giggle you may ask!
It transpires that Peter Lim made his money through Manchester United themed bars, according to one source keen to exploit this latest revelation.
The irony of it, all that hate, all that bile they`ve hurled in our direction and here they are possibly about to be rescued by somebody who has our name in his book of successes!
