United - Brown`s Absence!

Wes Brown has been conspicuous by his absence this season.

Now whether that is because of the wealth of defensive talent that Sir Alex Ferguson has at his disposal or whether it is, as a leading tabloid suspects, down to a pre-season row the two referenced characters are supposed to have had, we`re not privy too.

But, it`s fair to say that Wes appears to be taking it reasonably well, despite rumours of a supposed move for his services by Sunderland, in January, when he remarks about his first team absence,

"Yeah, a little bit. But I`ve always had to deal with that situation throughout my career."

"It`s something I`ve learned to handle. We`ve got lots of good player sin defensive positions."

"I have to keep training hard and, when I do get a chance, play well."

"There`s no point sulking and letting it get to you."

"It might be difficult but you have to remember that everyone wants to play every week. Unfortunately, that can`t happen."

But you do wonder how long Wes would be prepared to not even be getting a look-in don`t you?

Well pre-Rafael, Evans and Smalling he knew he wasn't going to start but will always be back-up but now he's back-up to the back-up which I can't imagine him standing for much longer.
TheFamousNo7
never liked him - ever since he broke Scott Sinclairs foot!

If he hasn't figured it out by now I'd be amazed; he's superfluous to requirements...and needs to move on asap if he wants to have a career worth looking back on..

how john o shea gets in the team before wes i will never know.wes is a really good player but if you fall out with the dictator that is it for you at the club the dictator thinks he owns.

and all this after he announced his retirement from international football! Did he know something?

Wes is a quality RB, but injury has ruined his career, his only way back now I fear is a move away from united
Fergies Gum
Here I was thinking it was all down to the fact he isn't very good!

fcb brown is better defender than anything yous have in your back four.his face just doesnt fit with the dictator at united.

Have you actually seen Vincent Kompany play JH? No offense, but we currently have the third best defence in Europe (based on the number of goals let in), and out of our first choice full backs, one has played half a game and the other has only just returned from injury. You may yet eat those words!

7 games into the season and you've got the 3rd best defense in Europe. Next you're going to tell me you're the 2nd best team in England!
