Ji-Sung: 'Don't Rule Us Out!'

Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung believes South Korea could make a big impact in the World Cup after their first win at this level on European soil.

Park: 'There is a lot of confidence in this squad. We did not panic after losing that goal. We had enough belief in ourselves to keep playing to our strengths.'

Mohamed Kader gave Togo the lead but the game swung South Korea's way following the dismissal of Jean-Paul Abalo.

Lee Chun-Soo scored with a brilliant free-kick then Ahn Jung-Hwan thumped home the winner after stepping off the bench.

Park: 'When Ahn came on, we all expected a lot from him and he fulfilled those expectations.

'He has a lot of experience and that can tip the scales during a match.

'We saw that with the excellent goal he scored.'

Park is going to show his colours next season, i really think he's a possible replacement for scholes, yes i know he's a winger but the way he cuts across the park with ease is scary! ask ferdinand! park skips past him with ease in training, not even the chelsea back four could stop him! and would you want to stand in the way of rooney running at you full pelt closely followed by a mad korean! no didn't think so, nor will chelsea!..cant wait till next season!..COME ON YOU REDS!!
