United - Cleverley Recall Possibility!

When does a season long loan not become a season long loan?

The answer being when your name is Tom Cleverley and Manchester United have been clever enough (excuse the pun) to insert a clause in the loan deal.

Both of the nations leading tabloids carry snippets that Sir Alex Ferguson is looking at recalling Tom to Old Trafford come the January transfer window with Sir Alex attributed as having remarked,

"We`ll probably bring Tom back in January. Tom`s going to be a great footballer, I really like him."

Does anybody know whether Tom ha impressed those in charge at Wigan or whether the loan deal hasn`t quite gone as both sides had hoped?
