United - Blades To Do a Deal!

United - Blades To Do a Deal!

If the Sheffield United manager, Gary Speed, has his way, we may have witnessed the last appearance, in a Manchester United shirt, by one of our youngsters.

We`ve already reported, in the last few days or so, of how Ritchie De Laet has joined Sheffield United on a months` loan, well now it is being implied that Gary Speed would like to make the move permanent come the opening of the January transfer window.

Speaking about De Laet, Speed is quoted in the tabloid press as having remarked,

"He`s been excellent in the two games he`s played for us."

De Laet, if the move goes ahead, will end his United career having made just five starts!
