United - Chasing a Midfielder?

United - Chasing a Midfielder?

Those in control of the Daily Grapevine are certainly earning their corn at the moment.

If they are to be believed, United are closing in on two midfielders this January.

The first is our supposed long term target, Steven Defour with United, reputedly,
keen to do a deal with Standard Liege whilst the second is a new name as far as rumours go in that of the AS Roma international, Daniele De Rossi.

Whilst both are highly regarded, which of the two, if Sir Alex was to purchase a midfielder in the January transfer window, would you prefer he went after?

Didn't De Rossi say he didn't want to leave Italy. He is a great player but he would never sign for us, price and contract and etc.
