United - Bruce Reflects!

United - Bruce Reflects!

Steve Bruce is still struggling to get that vital first win over his old gaffer!

Yesterday, Steve and his Sunderland side probably came as close as they have ever done.

After the game, Steve was in jocular mood as he gave his version of the days events,

"I`ve been going 15 years now, trying to beat him and I even tried to sabotage the toilets and that didn`t work."

"This was the closest I am ever likely to get. The way we have played against Arsenal, Liverpool and now United has been decent."

"It is very difficult to pick out individuals. The thing that pleased me is the way we took the game to them."

"Sir Alex enjoyed the red wine but didn`t enjoy the toilet trouble. He was very complimentary about us."

With three of the so-called big four slipping up on Wearside, a point doesn`t look too bad a result now!

Not bad be we shouldn't be concentrating on the teams that are coming 3rd and 7th place and more on the team that one it last season.
