United - Fergie`s Rooney Blast!

The press intrusion when it comes to Wayne Rooney appears to be grating with Sir Alex Ferguson.

Sat facing the media yesterday and when pressed, once again, about Wayne`s three week break, Sir Alex snapped,

"It`s an ankle injury."

"What do you want me to say? Do you want me to describe every ligament?

"Christ!"

"I think Wayne will be (out for) two to three weeks. In fairness he`s a strong lad and has recovered from injuries in the past."

"Nobody likes to be injured, it`s straightforward. Wayne would like to be out here training and playing with us, but he`s not."

That sure put them in their place I suspect!
