United - Fergie on Two More Points Dropped!

Yesterday provided the perfect opportunity for United to close the gap on the leaders Chelsea, especially with the London side having been beaten by Manchester City, on Saturday.

But it wasn`t to be with a plucky Bolton side putting up a decent performance and running us very close in a 2-2 draw.

Afterwards, Sir Alex offered his explanation on yet more points dropped, commenting to the media,

"In the first half we should have done better but we did well to come from behind. The second half was very even."

"Bolton were a real handful and our chances were reduced but we must take credit for coming back again, it shows character. I think a lot of teams coming here will find it very difficult. I thought it was a fair result. Teams drop points when we don`t expect them."

"Away from home we`ve scored seven goals and only got three points - this is a very difficult league."


Away from home we`ve also conceded plenty!

Perhaps we should be thankful that we didn`t concede any more late goals like we have done at Fulham and Everton already this season.
