'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Yet More Rooney Gossip!

It must be a slow news day in the Sunday tabloid press.

Well either that or the tabloid media are intent on wringing the last ounce of blood out of the Rooney domestic situation.

Today, the Sunday Mirror sees fit to plaster a story about Barcelona being willing to end Rooney`s hell given half the chance.

There`s no solid foundation for the rumour apart from a few quotes they say come from a Barcelona source, but they could quite easily have come from the bloke next door, quotes that simply say,

"Rooney`s position is worth monitoring if things become increasingly different for him in England."

"There is no move imminent but, if his problems increase, and he looks to get away from England, we`d certainly make our interest known."

If the situation were to arise, I doubt whether Barcelona would be his only suitors!

Cashley was supposed to go to Madrid because of his situation in England and I reckon Rooney would have to have an affair with the queen in order to experience similiar levels of hostility. Guess Real Madrid are pretty keen on a Rooney/Ronaldo reunion though...

No lampardsrightfoot it's a reknowned fact that we are, though i hate it, Real Madrids feeder club. If (and that's a big if) Rooney were to leave I would reckon Real Madrid would be his destination not Barcelona.
