United - They Want How Much?

United - They Want How Much?

If United really are keen on signing the Atletico Madrid keeper, David De Gea, then they are going to have to cough up some serious cash.

According to our sources, the keeper has a £17 million buy-out clause in his current contract, a contract he was awarded after making a mere five first team appearances.

The guy had better be good!

Haha, I love it. You buy 2 Tottenham players and then you're constantly being linked with their squad. You buy 4 Portuguese league players then you get linked with every young prospect in Portugal. You buy-out one players contract the next thing you know you're going to pay £17 mil to buy-out a contract. No doubt if Fergie likes him he will get him but to imply he will pay 17 mil for an unproven (in the premier league anyway), young (meaning inconsistent) prospect based on the fact that he watched him once is laughable.
