It`s great to see Sir Alex in such fine spirits.
The recent trip to Spain must have done wonders when it comes to re-charging those batteries, what other reason can there be for Sir Alex`s light-hearted demeanour when it came to discussing the threat Chelsea pose this season, when he candidly remarked,
"I think Chelsea chose the calendar - it`s been a quite amazing start of the season. But you still have to beat those teams and they have. The previous winners always deserve respect because it is a difficult league."
Wouldn`t the Sir Alex of old have been vociferously lambasting all those concerned for giving Chelsea such an easy start?

He did in another interview. Besides, he didn't complain when you got off to a flyer with a similar start in 2006/07. Not really like him being a hypocrite is it.
