United - That Spanish Trip!

The reason for the trip to Spain, rather than take charge of the first team at Scunthorpe, became a little clearer this morning.

Apparently, Sir Alex Ferguson, although it was intimated that he was spying on our Champions League opponents, Valencia, was also, more importantly, taking a very close look at the Atletico Madrid keeper, David De Gea, a fact confirmed by the fact that Sir Alex was accompanied on the trip by the Manchester United goalkeeping guru, Eric Steele!

Now we know do we not!

Hmm, i honestly thought the whole rumour was a load of rubbish and that he had wen to watch Valencia. He must be seriously interested then especially to miss one of our matches.
