'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Brazilian Youngster Targeted!

The quest to ensure that the production line of talent needed to keep Old Trafford at the forefront of English football continues unabated.

With UEFA set to impose financial regulations whereby financial expenditure must be covered, more-or-less, by revenue received, it becomes even more essential that clubs continue to bring young talent through the ranks.

These days this young talent isn`t just restricted to local youth, the evolving world that is football, now means that clubs scour the globe to ensure they can pick up talent from a very early age.

According to one leading tabloid this morning, United are keen to snap up a fifteen year old Brazilian lad who impressed at a recent youth tournament in Manchester.

His name is Andrigo and he is currently on the books of the Brazilian club, Internacional Porto Alegre. Such is his talent; it appears that our main rivals for his signature are none other than the Spanish giants, Barcelona.

It`ll be interesting to watch to see who he chooses to join or indeed whether he chooses to stay put!

He will look at the Barca youth system and would pick them over us no doubt but i can't see us interested in him anyway, we're not the best with South Americans (par Rafael & Fabio and hopefully Anderson).
