United - Heart Attack Football!
Heart attack football is how Patrice Evra has described the current manner in which United are playing.
Whilst our current major rivals for the Premier League title, Chelsea, go calmly about their business, scoring for fun and keeping goals conceded, this season, down to a solitary one, we`re resembling the `Keystone Kops` when it come sot our defensive work.
Clean sheets are something we can only dream about as Everton, Liverpool and Fulham have all rattled our net with alarming ease recently and the middle of those two, after United were cruising to victory, has given Patrice a chance to air his views, with the Frenchman quite rightly claiming,
"If we drew that game, how could we then say we are going to win the league?"
"It was an accident against Fulham, an accident against Everton."
"But if you do it again it is not an accident. You don`t want to win the league. It`s incomprehensible."
"We need to stop bringing that nervousness to the situation."
My intuition suggests we should be all right against Scunthorpe tonight but come the weekend, when we resume our Premier League campaign, who knows what`ll happen!
