United - Fletcher`s Views on Rooney!

United - Fletcher`s Views on Rooney!

Once again, although thankfully the press coverage has died down relating to his domestic activities, the eyes of the world will be focused on Wayne Rooney.

Can Wayne get back to the kind of form he showed last season and help United demolish Liverpool today?

Darren Fletcher thinks that he can and has given an interview to the tabloid press that infers there are signs Wayne is getting back to his best and that he`ll just love taking on Liverpool, when he comments,

"I thought Wayne looked sharp against Rangers and I am certain the goals will now come. He will love playing against Liverpool because he`s a Scouser and because there is so much history between the two clubs."

"It`s the kind of game he relishes. Wayne is a top player for us - so it`s good to have him back in the team."

Here`s hoping Wayne gets back into a free-scoring mode this afternoon!
