'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Owen`s Frustration!

Is there anything worse than being fit but not being able to get regular football?

We`d say the answer is yes if your name is Michael Owen.

Owen has seen his career, in recent years, hit by a succession of injuries but now the former England striker is chomping at the bit to force Sir Alex into giving him a regular starting place.

Talking about his frustration, to the national media, Michael is quoted as having commented,

"You can only prepare and train well, so you`re ready when the manager calls on you."

"The most difficult thing is not playing, suddenly getting picked and being mentally and physically right to perform."


We`ve a strange feeling that the only way Michael will get the regular football he craves is if he moves on, therefore, that proposed move to Aston Villa, mentioned in previous dispatches, could well be on the cards!
