United - Valencia Injury!

United - Valencia Injury!

It looked shocking, so awful that the television companies refused to show a repeat of the collision between Valencia and Kirk Broadfoot.

With his ankle hanging limply from the lower leg and with the Rangers players waving franticly to the bench, you just knew this was a bad one for the player.

After the match, talking about the incident, Sir Alex Ferguson gave the news we`d all feared,

"I`m afraid it looks really bad. He will be operated on and it`s a bad blow."

"Valencia has a dislocation and a fracture."

"It is a similar injury to the one Alan Smith got when he was with us so we are looking for Valencia being out for the rest of the season."

"We knew it was bad when the Rangers players started waving over to the bench."

Our thoughts are with Valencia as he prepares for a long spell on the sidelines and we hope he makes a successful recovery.

Poor sod. Can't wait to see him back tearing it up on the right wing again. So, i'm guessing Nani is going on the Right wing.
